Economic Growth Stabilization of Countries
in Post-Crisis Period
The “Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists” Association was founded in June, 2008 with the aim to unite the efforts of scientists and practitioners in economics to solve the key economic development issues.
An annual Astana Economic Forum is a main event of the “Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists” Association where the most actual issues of modern economy have been discussed for two years.
Objectives
• Discussion of optimal economy structure in post-crisis period of development
• Creating conditions for formation and development of new structure for stable, competitive economy.
• New conception of favourable investment climate for the realization of innovative projects
• Discussion on creation of new financial architecture promoting long-term and stable economic development
• Attracting potential investors and customers into the innovative projects (exhibition of industrial-innovative projects)
• Exchange of practice and scientific developments between scientific schools of the world
With a view to elaborate mechanisms for formation of conditions providing long-term sustainable development of the world economy and the countries in the post-crisis period by consolidating of government economic policy, achievements of science and private sector initiatives, the III Astana Economic Forum will be held on July 1-2, 2010.
The Programme of the III Astana Economic Forum on the theme: “Economic Growth Stabilization of Countries in Post-Crisis Period” will include scientific and practical activities.
Industrial – Innovative Summit, Energy Business Summit, International Conference of Public-Private Partnership World Centers, and training seminars for entrepreneurs including seminar on issues of the Islamic finance are expected to be held on the first day of the Forum.
The second day of the forum is planned to be held in the format of panel session on socio-economic development issues, formation and development of innovative economy, construction of a new global financial architecture, sustainable energy development and the role of youth in contribution to the economic growth of countries in the post-crisis period.
Activities of the Forum are supported by the World Economic Forum, St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, World Bank, UN Economic Commission for Europe and the Islamic Development Bank.
On the threshold of the Forum the contest for The Best Research in the Field of Economics is planned to be held. During the period of October 1, 2009 until May 1, 2010 with the aim of uniting the efforts of scientists-economists from all over the world and sharing scientific ideas the Internet-forum will be held at the web-site www.economyclub.info
