On December 11, 2009 in London (Great Britain) in the gallery “La Galleria Pall Mall” will take place an official opening of the exhibition of an ancient Kazakhstan gold “The Golden Man: Treasures of the Scythian Burial Mounds”.The exhibition will last till December 16, 2009.

 Bulat and Botagoz Tynybekov, graduate musicians from the Royal College of Music perform in the Norfolk House Music Room at the V & A. Concert starts at 6.30pm and ends at 7.30pm, with a short interval in the performance.

The IV Eurasian Forum will provide a unique platform for key stakeholders to discuss the current and future-oriented issues of concern, not only to local and regional audiences, but also to the global system at large. Given that Eurasia is home to almost 35% of the non-OPEC hydrocarbon reserves, whatever happens in this region will inevitably affect the rest of the world.

On 26 September 2009 for the first time in Astana British Kazakh Society together with Astana Mayor's office will hold a 7k charity race to raise funds to support Astana Children Home and SOS Childrens' Villages in Kazakhstan.

This exhibition focuses on Kazakh craftswomen living in the Altai Mountains of western Mongolia and their textiles. On display will be Kazakh textiles, and photographic and video material from the area. A furnished yurt will show the home environment for which these textiles are made and which in turn works as a source of inspiration for craftswomen
