To celebrate 17th Kazakhstan Independence Day with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Marius Stravinsky Conductor, finest soprano Maira Kerey, famous lyric tenor Kairzhan Zholdybayev, pianist of the legendary Bekova piano trio Eleonora Bekova.

An exhibition of Kazakh art is to be held from the 17th to 19th October 2008 at Christie’s flagship auction house in King Street, which will showcase the work of some of the nation’s best artists, in addition to raising awareness of those who will benefit from Saby – the people of Kazakhstan who suffer disabilities.

Musicians from the Royal College of Music perform in the Norfolk House Music Room at the V & A the first three Fridays in the month. Concerts start Friday 17 October 2008 at 6.30pm and end at 7.30pm, with a short interval in the performance.
