The Ministry for Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan is recruiting the native speakers of English to teach English as a foreign language at secondary schools (students from 6 to 17 years)

Below are the terms and conditions of employment of foreign specialists applying to work at schools in Kazakhstan.

Terms of recruitment

Requirements for candidates

- Degree in Teaching English

- Experience of teaching students of:
1. Primary school
2. Secondary school
3. High school

Minimum of 3-year teaching experience, Bachelor’s Degree
Skills of organising extra-curricular activities
Commitment to work according to contract and compliance with labour discipline
Compliance with Laws and Regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of education
Skills: communicating with students, colleagues and parents
Teaching without any kind of promotion of religious and extremist views

Obligations of host schools:

1. Signing of a contract ensuring place for and amount of work according to the legislation of the RK
2. Accommodation provided for the period of work. Accommodation rent is paid for by local authorities
3. Salary is paid in a timely manner and in the amount stipulated by the contract between school and teacher, and equal to standard salary in the country of the teacher’s resident country
4. Healthcare is provided according to standards of healthcare service for local teachers of Kazakhstan
5. School management is obliged to support teachers in case of professional issues
6. Logistics is provided by the host school
7. Appropriate support and support in adjustment to the new surroundings.

The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan is open from Monday to Friday (except Wednesdays) between 09.00 and 12.00 for visa and legalisation matters and on Wednesdays between 09.00 and 12.00 for civil matters.
